------------------------------------------- Newsletter TMRA - August 2008 TMRA 2008 - Subject-centric Computing Leipzig, Germany, tutorials@TMRA – 15 October 2008 TMRA 2008 – 16-17 October 2008 httpwww.tmra.de2008 ------------------------------------------- Dear friends and supporters of TMRA, there are only two months until we will meet in Leipzig for TMRA 2008. The review of the submissions is ongoing an the preliminary program of TMRA 2008 will be published August 25, 2008. Unfortunately, the proceedings of TMRA 2007 are still not published. This inadmissible delay, combined with pricing and copyright models which hamper the diffusion of the work presented at TMRA we had to decide to not publish the TMRA 2008 proceedings with Springer. As main advantage of this change you will get the finished and printed proceedings at the conference! Due to this change of the publisher we have decided to open a 10 days late call for submissions. The overall success of the conference depends on your input from the community, so we invite you until August 15, 2008 to submit your latest work. Furthermore we want to announce, that the Topic Maps Lab at University of Leipzig has signed as co-sponsor of TMRA 2008. Please read more about the Topic Maps Lab below. The registration for TMRA 2008 will open soon. Please remind, that there are early birds until end of August. We will inform you as soon as the registration is available. Greetings from Leipzig Lutz Maicher Proceedings of TMRA 2008 in the LIV series ========================================== An inadmissible delay in the publication of the TMRA 2007 proceedings, combined with pricing and copyright models which are not appropriate for the diffusion of the work presented at the conference we have decided at short notice to not publish the proceedings in the Springer LNAI series. Instead, the TMRA 2008 proceedings will be published in the LIV series of the University of Leipzig. The proceedings will have a ISBN and will be available in book stores. As main advantage of this change should be underlined, that you and the whole community will get the finished and printed proceedings at the conference. This is a great improvement compared to the last years! If you have any question concerning the new publisher, please do not hesitate to contact us. Late Call closes August 15, 2008 ================================ Due to the change of the publisher we have opened a late call for submissions. Please submit your latest work!
