We have established an open application process for the TMRA Program Committee and everybody with experiences in Topic Maps is cordially invited to apply for the Committee. Please read below how to apply for the committee. To make the TMRA conference more visible, we have produced a TMRA 2008 leaflet which informs about the conference and should be delivered to as much interested people as possible. If you can distribute or use some leaflets, please order them at the conference website. As you already know, the motto of TMRA 2008 is "Subject-centric Computing". The overall success of the conference depends on the input from the community, so we invite several kinds of contributions, such as full and short papers, presentations, posters, demonstrations and tutorials, from both, science and industry. The deadline for all submissions is 30 May 2008. And if you can hardly wait for the scientific TMRA conference in October, we highly recommend you the most important Topic Mapping spring event, the Topic Maps User Conference 2008 in Oslo, Norway [1]. The conference takes place from April 2-4, 2008. Greetings from Leipzig Lutz Maicher Joining the TMRA 2008 Program Committee ======================================= To increase the transparency, efficiency and overall quality of the TMRA reviewing, we have changed the staffing of the Program Committee. We have established an open application process for the TMRA Program Committee and everybody interested in Topic Maps is cordially invited to apply for the committee. If you have sound experience in Topic Maps technologies and you are interested in supporting the community, we invite you to apply for the committee by submitting the electronic form at [1] (or simply use the link provided at the website). Each reviewer will have a workload of 2-3 reviews for papers or presentations. The whole review process is supported by a conference management system, no face by face meetings are required. All communication regarding the review process is done electronically. Being reviewer for TMRA 2008 equates spending one or two of your hours in the progress of Topic Mapping and the success of the conference.
